Obituary: Armand Vagnini of Middlebury

Vagnini was a U.S. veteran and worked as payroll manager for Timex Corporation in Middlebury.

 

Armand Vagnini of Middlebury died Sunday April 15, 2012, at . He was the husband of Mary (DeAngelis) Vagnini.

Vagnini was born in Derby, son of the late Francesco and Gilda (Vite) Vagnini. He was a graduate of Quinnipiac College. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He worked as payroll manager for for more than 40 years.

In addition to his wife of 60 years, he leaves two sons, Michael Vagnini and his wife Karen of Woodbury; and James Vagnini of Middlebury; and four grandchildren, Kristen Vagnini, Jennifer Vagnini, Lauren Vagnini and Michael Vagnini Jr., all of Woodbury. He was predeceased by five sisters -- Pauline Vagnini, Lena Vagnini, Edera Felice, Eside Tontini and Carrie Orazietti.
