Will It Rain on Halloween?
While the forecast for Halloween doesn't call for hurricanes, tropical storms or snow this year, it is calling for rain.
Chances are, the children you know have already started asking how much it will rain on Halloween. Here's the National Weather Service forecast for Middlebury and Woodbury.
Halloween Day
A chance of showers, mainly after 2 p.m.. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61. A 30 percent chance of precipitation.
Halloween Night
Showers, mainly after 8 p.m. Low around 55. South wind 13 to 18 mph. A 100 percent chance of precipitation. New precipitation amounts estimated between a quarter and half of an inch.
