MUUS Sunday Service

Rev. Jeanne Lloyd of the Mattatuck Unitarian Universalist  Society will speak on Sunday, January 29th at 10:30 am. Her talk is entitled, " By Their Fruit Shall We Know Them." In this reflection on the prophesy and action of Unitarian and Universalist prophets, she will explore the society's current efforts to stem the pain and suffering of hunger as organized by the UU Service Committee. (Recently, members of MUUS voted unanimously to act together on local hunger issues.) Lloyd will also discuss what lessons might be reaped by individuals and the congregation as a whole. Refreshments will be served after the service. The public is welcome.
