Wine & Roses-Jekyll in July
Final plans are underway at the Glebe House Museum & Gertrude Jekyll Garden for Wine & Roses, a party in the garden, Friday July 19 from 6-8:30 PM.
Surrounded by the blooms of mid-summer perennial borders, guests will be treated to a wine tasting from award winning Walker Road Vineyards of Woodbury, additional wines, beer and sparking water, assorted appetizers, live music, silent auction items and great conversation. Connecticut Community Foundation has awarded the museum at Matching Challenge Grant for this event, challenging the museum to raise an additional $1000 the night of the event to be matched by CCF.
