"Songs of the Colonial Revival" with Rick Spencer

In anticipation of our new colonial
revival exhibit opening in April, musician Rick Spencer will present
songs popular during that time. Songs like "The Days When We Were
Young" by Henry Clay hearkened back to simpler pre-Civil War times.
Likewise "The Old Oaken Bucket" by Samuel Woodworth and "Long, Long Ago"
by Thomas Haynes Bayly were extremely popular and a symbol our love of
nostalgia. The program will run about 45 minutes.
