Riverscapes: An Evolving Image

As part of the tour de force exhibition called
Rivers Alive currently showing at the Washington Art Association (WAA ), Veronique Dulack, adjunct Professor at UCONN, Waterbury and esteemed art historian will present a lecture titled; "Riverscapes: An Evolving Image". The lecture will explore the cultural significance and artistic inspirations that rivers have evoked since the beginning of time. Ms Dulack explains, "Rivers have been personified as gods, identified with heroes and the source of countless myths ad legends..."   The lecture is free and open to the public and will take place in the studio at WAA.
