Lecture: Women's Work in World War II

During World War II, Litchfield provided
support to their troops on the home front. In Bantam, factories
produced bomber seats and ball and roller bearings. Throughout the
area, young women joined as WACs and WAVEs, volunteered with the
American Red Cross and planted victory gardens. To further discuss
their roles in this war, join author John Cilio as he navigates the
twists and turns of their story through his new book, Women's Work in
WWII.
