Google Maker Camp Week @ the Woodbury Public Library

Google offers a free online summer camp for teens that includes 6 weeks of awesome hands-on projects & cool field trips highlighting technology. During the week of August 5-9, teens ages 12 & up are invited to a special MAKER CAMP at the Woodbury Public Library. The camp meets daily at 3:00 and is open to ages 12 & up. Projects include making "squishy circuits" with conductive dough, soldering light up robot pins, making art with a "spin-bot" made by the group, using light to print on fabric, and LEGO projects. All projects have been donated by Google, with support from LEGO, several universities, and Radio Shack. This program is free but registration is required. Call the library at 203-263-3502 for more information or to register.
