St. George's Episcopal Church Tag Sale

St. George’s Episcopal Church will host its annual Spring Tag Sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 4, at the church, 393 Tucker Hill Rd., at the corner of Route 188.

Quality items will include sporting equipment, children’s toys, china, glassware, household goods, small appliances in working order, dishes, books and glass vases.

The Boutique will offer home décor and collectibles, suitable for Mother’s Day gifts.

The Furniture Gallery, displayed on the back lawn of the Parish Hall at bargain prices, comes with help loading into cars or trucks.

New this year, St. George’s will sell hanging flower baskets, a special variety of geraniums and other small plants on the back lawn. The plants have been acclimated to Connecticut growing conditions and will do well in local gardens.

Because of the “early bird” opening hour, the kitchen will offer coffee plus muffins and bagels.

Proceeds of the event will fund church outreach programs.

Those seeking additional information may call the church office, 203-758-9864, and leave a message.
