HEMINGWAY POND "PAINT OUTS" HELD WEEKLY THROUGH THE FALL SEASON


 Blue Horse Arts Studio is announcing Free weekly " Hemingway Paint Outs" through the fall season. The public is invited  to be inspired by the gorgeous landscape right here in the center of Watertown by artist, Bridget Grady, of the Blue horse Arts Studios. The autumn leaves are just starting their colorful  display providing inspiration to the creatively inclined or those who just love observing nature in action. Hemingway Pond's resident wildlife, great blue herons, kingfishers, egrets, a variety of ducks, beavers, and deer are very active at this time of year. Artists of any media or experience level can work outside or inside the comfort of the new studios. It's a great place for photographers and birders! The Hemingway Pond "Paint Outs" are free and held on Saturday's from 12PM to 5PM at Blue Horse Arts Studio,250 Porter Street, Watertown, CT.  for more information visit WWW.BLUEHORSEARTS.COM or call 860-417-3243.

Abuse of crack cocaine, heroin and the like have been proven to alter the brain chemistry, changing the user's personality, and frequently making them violent when they otherwise would not hurt a fly. These drugs are also used to benefit people who need them as prescribed by doctors. Tobacco has no such benefits. And skydiving? What does that have to do with tobacco? Does the skydiver harm other's health a month or more after he/she's been on the ground? No. Tobacco smoke does. It's called third hand smoke. Value? How can you compare art and entertainment with smoking? Anybody can attend an art gallery and not adversely affect anybody else. Any normal person can watch TV or play video games without committing suicide or harming anybody. Smoking hurts everybody and helps no one every time a smoker lights up. Drugs and alcohol, when used in moderation or under the direction of a doctor, can be helpful. Tobacco can not make the same claim.
