Title:  “We’re Safe”, the best fire safety advice no one ever told you.

A practical discussion on fire prevention, safety and intervention with “behind the scenes” real life insights from his 30 years of firefighting.   Learn what you should do, when you should do it and how to protect yourselves and your family from a devastating loss. This is fire prevention for adults.  You will hear a fresh perspective on fire safety with new insights on traditional themes.

About the presenter:

Mike von Kannewurff has been a volunteer fire fighter for 30 years and is currently serving in his home town of Middlebury, CT.  Mike is nationally certified as Fire Fighter II with additional certifications in Hazardous Materials Operations, Vehicle Extrication, various Rescue specialties, Pump Operator and Incident Command.  Throughout his 30 years in the fire service Mike has responded to thousands of emergencies, extinguished hundreds of fires and rescued dozens of people.
