Community Corner

Charcoal Chef Restaurant Fundraiser for the Friends of the Woodbury Senior Community Center

On Monday, February 4th, the Charcoal Chef Restaurant will donate 10% of their breakfast, lunch and dinner
proceeds to the “Friends” of the Woodbury Senior/ Community Center. All money raised will be used in support of programs at the Senior Center. The “Friends”
therefore ask the public to support this effort by enjoying one of the meals with their friends and family at the Charcoal Chef on February 4th.

The non-profit “Friends” of the Woodbury Senior/Community Center has had a leading role in raising funds to benefit the Woodbury Senior/Community Center, since the Center opened in 2007.  Some of the projects undertaken by the “Friends” of the Senior/Community Center have included producing a booklet regarding available services for Woodbury Seniors, purchasing equipment and furniture for the Center, and most recently offering free community concerts to Woodbury residents of all ages.

Anyone interested in joining the “Friends” of the Woodbury
Senior/Community Center should contact Sharon Sherman at 203-266-9051.
