The 8 Treasures is one of the most widely practiced sets of Chi Gung exercises to come out of China and is an excellent way to get in touch with Chi and your vital energy. In this workshop participants will be taught (or perhaps revisit from a deeper perspective) a complete set of movements which stimulate and balance energy flows along specific meridians. This set is designed to strengthen the body, balance vital functions, tonify internal organs, build immunity and enhance vitality. In addition to a thorough grounding in the physical components we will also explore some of the energetic aspects that really bring this set alive. The later part of the workshop, which will take place seated, will focus on the profound importance of full body breathing techniques both for health and mental clarity as well as looking at breath as a basis for meditation.
