Snowmobile Insurance Coverage & Adventures

As you gear up for a snowmobiling adventure, be sure to check with your Connecticut insurance agent about your snowmobile insurance coverage.

As a kid, I remember going to my grandparents’ house and riding our snowmobiles and four-wheelers through the trails in the woods for hours. Of course, as my cousins and I raced off to enjoy the fresh powder, we ignored the precautionary rules our parents were shouting at us. But when it comes down to it, safety certainly does come first. Part of your safety precautions should include looking into the proper off-road vehicle insurance or snowmobile insurance for your snow toys.

No matter what your toy of choice is, whether it’s a snowmobile, ATV, or some sort of 4wd vehicle, you can find coverage specific to your usage and journey. Off-road vehicle insurance is similar to auto insurance policies. A typical policy includes liability coverage for bodily injury and property damage, collision and comprehensive coverage. Although your physical damage coverage is typically based on the actual cash value (ACV), you can purchase additional coverage to protect your investment. Talk with your Connecticut insurance agent about finding a policy to fit your needs before you head out into the snow!
