Woodbury Prepares For Hurricane Sandy

Woodbury First Selectman Gerald D. Stomski issued the following statement regarding Hurricane Sandy:

The  Town of Woodbury encourages all of its citizens to prepare for the pending storm. Prepared for prolonged heavy winds, driving rain, potential snow, and possible extended and prolonged power outages.

We ask that all citizens sign up for CodeRed Emergency Notification. This can be done be going onto the town's website, www.woodburyct.org. At the bottom of the HomePage is a Link for CodeRed.

Please list your land line and your cell phone so that you may receive continuous updates from the Town. We also encourage all citizens to use their e-mail contacts to inform their friends and family members to do the same, and especially reach out and notify our elderly citizens.

There will be further updates about how to prepare for the storm, shelters, emergency contact information, and other related storm information. Please monitor the towns’ website for additional updates.
