Personally I would like to see a boys and girls club or YMCA there.

I work with the youth of both Southbury and Middlebury. Their unanimous complaint is "there's nothing to do", and they're right. I would like to see a multi-faceted Sports Entertainment complex...something that featured Batting Cages, Pocket Billiards, Bowling, Roller-Skating, Games of Skill, etc. It would give the youth of the area a recreational outlet and bring about jobs. I believe the location and zoning would work out as well.

Local shops, a bowling alley or skating rink, a conference room/meeting place for all the home based business people in the area, a cinema/bar combination and a children's museum - these are just some of the suggestions from WM Patch's Facebook page fans: www.facebook.com/woodmiddpatch
