Real estate website Zillow.com crunches the numbers and asks: Which town is less expensive to live in — Middlebury or Woodbury?

 

When it comes to buying a home, Middlebury is, on average, less expensive than Woodbury, according to Zillow.com and its Middlebury vs. Woodbury real estate comparison.

Analysis

Zillow reports that during the last year, Middlebury home values fell by 8.4 percent, while Woodbury prices fell by 13 percent.

"The median sale price in Middlebury is $295,000, but the median listing price was $399,000, a 26.1 percent discount," according to Zillow. "Meanwhile in Woodbury, the median selling price is $287,000, and the starting price had a median of $370,000, a 22.4 percent discount."
