Flood Watch in Effect for Middlebury and Woodbury Tonight

Wind gusts in Woodbury may get as high as 41 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

 

A hazardous weather outlook and flood watch warning are in effect for Middlebury, Woodbury and most of Connecticut today, according to the National Weather Service.

Connecticut Light & Power's website will be down for approximately six hours, beginning at 9 p.m. tonight, Sunday, April 22, according to the CL&P Twitter account.

Middlebury's Weather Forecast

Today: 90 percent chance of rain, mainly after 1 p.m. Could be heavy at times. High near 53. North wind between 8 and 10 mph. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch possible.

Tonight: 100 percent chance of rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog. Low around 49. Breezy, with a east wind 13 to 16 mph, increasing to between 21 and 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent New rainfall amounts between one and two inches possible.

Woodbury's Weather Forecast

Today: 80 percent chance of showers, mainly after 3 p.m. High near 57. North wind around 9 mph. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tonight: 100 percent chance of rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Low around 45. Breezy, with a east wind between 14 and 24 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. New rainfall amounts between one and two inches possible.
