The holidays are officially over and that last symbol of the season - the Christmas tree - is shedding pine needles all over carpets across the world.

This reminds me of the old fashioned yule log traditions. Think of this event as an reaffirmation of New Year resolutions and the burning of old emotions and set backs that have tainted your spirit over the last year (and in some cases past years.) At the end take the ashes and spread them on house plants or in your gardens in the spring to grow new ideas and successfully blossom new adventures and relationships. Think of it as spiritual recycling.
