Cabin Fever Cures in Middlebury & Woodbury

Going a little stir-crazy when it's winter in New England is a common situation. Fortunately, there's always a lovely nature-spot to retreat to when you're in need of fresh air.

There's nothing quite like a winter hike to cure the cabin fever blues. In Middlebury, the John A. Largay Memorial Preserve near Lake Elise Cemetery features walking trails and a lovely lake.

In Woodbury, Flanders Nature Center offers an array of events as well as trails to walk on and bountiful nature to view.

Get out of that cabin. Grab a camera. Take pictures. Make memories, and record your lives for future generations to learn from. Bundle up, take a walk, go home and drink some hot cocoa. If you just sit there, you're going to atrophy. Nice post, Jaimie Cura!

Thanks Erik! Where do you like to walk/hike/observe nature?
