Bethlehem Emergency Shelter Information

Bethlehem First Selectman Jeff Hamel said the town's emergency shelter will open on an as-needed basis.

Memorial Hall in Bethlehem is not open as of Monday morning, October 29, but will open on an as-needed basis, according to Bethlehem First Selectman Jeff Hamel.

Once emergency and fire personnel see power outage figures rising, that is when they will likely open Memorial Hall as a warming shelter, he said.

The hall is not a 24-hour shelter so if housing is needed, Bethlehem residents can go to Pomperaug High School, Hamel said.
