600 Scarves for Sandy Hook

Local merchants needed to help sell scarves!

Many of you have read the article about the drive for knitters to knit 600 scarves for the students and staff of Sandy Hook School. This initiative which started out as a simple plan to "do something" has swelled into a world-wide project! As of today, December 26, there will be contributions from almost all 50 states, as well as, many countries arouns the world! The outpouring of participation has been tremendous! Even school children are getting into the act.

The dilemma that we may be faced with, is that we may be getting many more than 600 scarves! We are asking local merchants if any of you would like to  help sell these extra scarves to raise money for the families - please email me! Thank you!
