That was the scenario yesterday morning when Michelle Morgan raised her hand to be a volunteer at the Tribury Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
Patch talked about its community news platform at the educational luncheon, which took place at the Heritage Hotel and was attended by about two dozen local business people.
Morgan, the co-owner of Revèe Spa at 33 Bullet Hill Road in Southbury, gave her 30-second elevator speech. It's a tad longer than 30 seconds, but it elicited a round of applause from the crowd and we gave her a Patch laptop case for being a good sport.
