Next weekend, Legends of Superheros in Middlebury will be hosting a 24 Hour Comics Day event in their store. I've done this challenge twice before and I'll be tackling it again.
The 24 Hour Comic challenge was first proposed by comic artist Scott McCloud many years ago. It's simple: create a complete 24 page comic in 24 hours. That's a lot to do in not a lot of time and with no sleep.
So if you're keen on challenging yourself to make your own comic then contact Legends and see about giving it a shot. They'll be providing quite a bit for the challengers but you'll need to bring your own art supplies and I would recommend bringing plenty of energy drinks. You will also need to have somebody to bring you to Legends and pick you up again. I know from experience that you will need somebody to drive you after staying up that long.
