Middlebury Library Hosts Story Time For Children

Winter sign-ups begin the week of Tuesday, Jan. 3. The library is closed on Monday, Jan. 2.

 

The offers options for parents and children who want to minimize that 'cabin fever' feeling New Englanders know so well.

Story time sign-ups are underway this week, beginning Tuesday, Jan. 3. The programs take place during the week of January 9 through January 12. A parent or caregiver must accompany the children.

Moving and Grooving

Moving and Grooving is for children ages one to two years of age.

Time: 10 to 10:30 a.m. Monday or Thursday

Parents or caregivers are asked to bring a towel or blanket for sitting on the floor. Library staff suggest that children and parents wear comfortable clothing. Children must be 1-year-old by Jan. 1, 2012.

One Plus One Equals Two

One Plus One Equals Two is for 2-year-old children.
 

Time: 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. Monday or Thursday

The program will have appropriate stories, songs, finger plays and crafts. Children must be 2-years-old by Jan. 1, 2012.

Story Time For 3- to 5-Year-Olds

Time: 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Tuesday or Wednesday

The program will have appropriate stories, songs, finger plays and crafts. Children must be 3-years-old by Jan. 1, 2012.

Story Time for Children Ages Five and Older

Time: 2 to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday or Wednesday

The program will have appropriate stories, songs, finger plays and crafts.
