The Gala, which will be held on the magnificent grounds of The Country Loft, 557 Main Street South, Woodbury, will feature three of Connecticut's acclaimed celebrity chefs, farm-to-table dining with paired wines, and, after the dinner, a program of operatic highlights performed by four rising NYC opera stars. It is an event not to be missed !
The Gala will benefit a new non-profit artistic organization, The Connecticut Summer Opera Foundation (CSOF).
CSOF will support a one-week summer residence for two conservatory-trained operatic vocalists, to be mentored by opera coaches right here in the beautiful and serene Litchfield Hills. CSOF will also engage in educational outreach by performing opera to area grade schools and middles schools. bringing this wonderful art form to the next generation of concert-goers.
