Rebuilding a Neighborhood: A Bus Tour of South End with Ruth Glasser Ph. D and Craig Russell, Executive Director of the Loyola Project

Join Dr. Ruth Glasser and Craig Russell on a tour of the South End of the city.  Participants will tour the Shrine of St. Anne and Perrault's Spring and Equipment, an historic iron fabricating shop that makes specialty parts for machines and sports cars.  Learn the history of the neighborhood and the plans for its future including new and restored houses, removal of old factories and the path for the Greenway along the Naugatuck River.

The Loyola Development Corporation is a non-profit organization established to prevent and eliminate neighborhood deterioration and to promote the general social welfare of the community.

This exhibit and related programs are supported by the Connecticute Humanities Council.
