Celebrate St. Patrick's Day @ WPL

The Kerry Boys, Connecticut's Favorite Irish Balladeers for over 20 years, will be playing your favorite Irish classics and originals at Woodbury Public Library on Sunday, March 11th, at 3 p.m.  Pierce Campbell will be joined by special guest Phil Rosenthal on banjo and mandolin.

The Kerry Boys are Mark James, originally from the County Kerry, Ireland, now a Cheshire, CT resident, and Pierce Campbell from Prospect, CT who is also the Connecticut State Troubadour for 2007 & 2008. Traditional Irish folk songs and original compositions will be performed. The Kerry Boys are well-known musicians who have released four CDs and are very popular with area concert-goers.  The Kerry Boys sing with pristine harmonies rarely heard anymore, backing them up with powerful and expressive mandolin and guitar.  They will quickly have your foot tapping and hands clapping.

This humorous, high-energy show will have you clapping and singing along in no time, engaging you from start to finish with the wide collection of traditional and original songs.  In their years performing together they have been welcomed throughout the North East at Irish festivals, library and municipal performances, schools, Irish pubs, clubs and fairs.  The Kerry Boys are members of the ConnTours roster of the Connecticut Commission on the Arts.
