Benefit For Ray Steinfeld's Children Set For January

Raymond Steinfeld was a Woodbury resident who died on Friday, October 28, 2011, after a brief illness.

A benefit for the children of , a Woodbury resident who died in October following a brief illness, will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15 at .

In addition to his wife, Betty, Steinfeld left behind three daughters, Ashley, Amanda and , and a son, Colby, all of Woodbury.

, a rock band that plays an eclectic mix of music from the 1960s to today, will perform at the fundraiser.

The band features local residents Chris Allan of Southbury, Frank Hallenbeck of Woodbury, Mark Pancrazio of Woodbury, Paul Peters of Woodbury, Mike Quicquaro of Watertown and Tim Roosa of Woodbury.

The event will feature prizes, a cupcake wheel and face painting.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for those 12 and younger. All proceeds will go to the Steinfeld children.
