What's Up With the Caution Tape at Hollow Park?

Caution tape at Hollow Park left one reader puzzled, so we scoped it out.

When a reader visited Hollow Park with their children, they noticed caution tape and wondered why.

"I took my children to the Hollow Park playscapes last night and was surprised to see yellow caution tape and signs saying keep off danger on a lot of the playscape pieces," reader Old Town Farm posted on the announcements board. "Does anyone know what the problem is?  Visually I could not identify anything wrong."

Parks and Rec Director Jenifer Miller said the town is erring on the side of caution.

"The equipment has been there for a few years and some parts wear out," she said. "For normal wear and tear, we're getting some parts replaced. When they're repaired, the caution tape will be taken out."
