'We Irish Will Party in Any Weather' — Milford's St. Patrick's Day Parade Is On

A little snow can't keep Milford from celebrating St. Patrick's Day with its annual parade.

Still, with a few fresh inches of snow, schools closed and the flurries still falling into the afternoon, there was some question whether the parade, scheduled for tomorrow, March 9, would still go on as planned.

And, as we announced on the Milford Patch Facebook page, after confirming with the Milford Mayor's Office:

"It's official: The parade is on."

That wall post garnered quite a few responses, including these:

"Good job Milford!!" — Margaret Fallon-Candido

"you can't keep a good Irishman down!!!!" — Stacy Krouch

"we irish will party in any weather!!" — John Mezes III

And, call it the 'Luck O' the Irish' ... the forecast for tomorrow is calling for sunny skies and temperatures in the 40s.
