Tribury Rotary Celebrates 2nd Annual "Taste of Tribury"

Event will feature local food tastings and door prizes.

The following is a press release from the Tribury Rotary Club.

Tribury Rotary, the local Rotary International Club of Woodbury, Southbury and Middlebury, CT, will celebrate the 2nd Annual “Taste of Tribury” on September 8th at Quassy Amusement Park’s Lakeside Pavilion from 1 pm to 5 pm.

“We are so pleased to conduct this event again this year and raise funds and awareness for the Rotary Foundation in support of local scholarships and humanitarian aid worldwide.”

Tickets for the event are on sale now from Tribury Rotarians in your community for $35 per adult and that entitles one free child under the age of 21 to the tasting and free amusement rides for the afternoon.  If two adult tickets are purchased at $35 each that entitles all children of that family to enter for free.

The Taste of Tribury will include food tasting from Tirdad’s Mediterranean grill and drink refreshments, as well as, farm fresh fruits and vegetables from Vaszauskas farm stand in Middlebury, cheeses from LaBonnes Markets and a wine tasting for adults over the age of 21.  The door prize is an iPad Mini. Additional fantastic items donated by area businesses, local artists, and Rotarians can be won in the “Tribury Rotary Wheel game” or  by participation in the silent auction. DJ MAV will also play music and the event will be fun for all ages.
