Share Your Story & Photos: Girl Scouts Celebrate 100th Anniversary

Hundreds of Girl Scouts from across the state are celebrating the organization's birthday at the Girl Scouts 100th Jubilee at the Durham Fairgrounds on May 19.

For 100 years, Girl Scouts have been helping build courage, confidence and character in girls and young women all across the country.

On Saturday, May 19, hundreds of Connecticut Girl Scouts — past and present — will gather at the Durham Fairgrounds to celebrate the 100th Anniversary Girl Scouts Jubilee.

The event is a celebration of all things Girl Scouts and we're encouraging participants to share their photos and stories of the event with Patch.

It's easy! Just upload your photo(s) here and include a brief description of what's happening in the photo. Feel free to take photos before, during and after the event!

In addition, Patch's photo gallery may give Girl Scouts a unique opportunity to earn their Photography Badge. Check with your Scout Leader.

We were not sure how to get hold of you...but to Girl Scout Troop 64202...in particular "Bex"...my husband and I send a big THANK YOU. We received a lovely gift bag at the Harold Leever Cancer Center today. What a thoughtful, wonderful thing you young ladies have done. God bless you all. Everyone was so happy to receive your well wishes. :-)
