Friday Night Shabbat Dinner Set For Friday, Jan. 6

Chabad Lubavitch hosts the Shabbat dinner event once a month.

 

January's Shabbat dinner, offered by Chabad Lubavitch of Northwest Connecticut, will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the Heritage Hotel, 522 Heritage Rd, Southbury.

The Shabbat dinner occurs on one Friday night each month and is open to all members of the community.
           
The Friday night Shabbat dinner features Challah, gefilte fish, chicken soup and other traditional foods.

Spirited singing, a Chassidic tale and the chance to meet new people round out the event.

Cost to attend is $20 per person, $18 per senior and $10 per child ages 12 and younger. Per family, cost to attend is $50.
