Flash Flood Warning for New Haven County

Middlebury and Woodbury weather forecast is calling for potentially powerful storms Tuesday and Wednesday, July 9 and 10.

New Haven County is under a flash flood warning until 4:15 p.m. today, July 9, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS reminds people to never drive cars over flooded roadways as they are often deeper than they appear.

"Do not underestimate the power of flood waters," the NWS warned. "Only a few inches of rapidly flowing water can quickly carry away your vehicle."
