The Woodbury Fire Department sent out a message via Twitter today: Do not cross any flooded roadways. The next tweet suggested people go indoors due to forecasted severe thunderstorms.
The tweet was sent out after the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Litchfield County until 7:15 p.m. tonight — Thursday, May 23.
Also on the radar are potentially severe thunderstorms and gusty winds.
