On Flanders' 200-acre campus of forest, field, farm and pond, children ages 3 to 5 spend the summer exploring nature, art, agriculture and ecology in a healthy and stimulating outdoor environment.
In the "Little Explorer" series, themes change each week. Young children are introduced to nature and the environment with hands-on activities, arts and crafts, nature walks, stories, songs and lots of playtime. From June 20 to 24, the theme is "Earth Explorers" and from June 27 - July 1, the theme is "Reptile Encounters." Kids should pack a hearty and healthy snack and dress for the weather and the outdoors.
