A Mid-Summer Night Lantern Tour

Experience an evening in the late 17th Century. Take a lantern tour of the Hurd House Museum while each room is brought to life by costumed docents recreating the activities of the daily life of the Hurd Family. Vignettes include: a reading of Shakespeare, a visit from the Minister, preparing to break fast in the morning, getting the hall ready for bedtime, and the making of clothing and linens for the household.

The lantern tour will conclude in the barn where guests can view the vast collection of farm implements and enjoy light refreshments.

This is the first presentation of the Mid-Summer Night Lantern Tour and all proceeds will go to the Woodbury Scholarship Fund. There is a suggested donation of $10 per person for those 12 and over. There will be two tours offered. One at 7:00 pm and one at 8:30 pm.
