Creepy Cars Haunt Big Daddy's Parking Lot

Halloween came early this year at Big Daddy's in Woodbury.

Every Saturday during the warmer months, Big Daddy's Pizza and Deli, located at 1633 Main St. North, Woodbury, plays host to a caravan of classic cars.

With the exception of the giant spiders on the roof of a car and skeletons sitting upright in the front seats, the car show on Saturday, Sept. 24, was no different.

Halloween came early, as the last day of the Big Daddy's car show season is  Saturday, Oct. 3. The car shows typically take place from 3 to 8 p.m.

Gary and Hollie Bushey are the organizers. Gary said another one of the themed cruise nights is Christmas in July.

The classic car owners went all out for Halloween. The back of a pick-up featured Dracula coming out of a coffin and a scary witch overseeing his awakening.

Cauldrons emitted smoke and webs wound their way around the hoods of cars.

A container of candy was in front of each car for those trick-or-treating and HHR DJ Services of Oxford provided the music.

Trophies were designed by Hollie for the best-decorated cars.
