Second Company Governor's Foot Guard Band to Perform at The Watermark

The Watermark at East Hill is pleased to announce the Second Company Governor’s Foot Guard Band will be playing its annual Veterans Day Concert on Tuesday, November 19. The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the retirement community, which is located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.

 

Chartered in 1775 and first commanded by Benedict Arnold, the Second Company Governor’s Foot Guard Band is the musical arm of one of the oldest continually active military units in the United States. The band regularly performs in parades, official ceremonies, concerts and festivals throughout Connecticut.

“We are excited to welcome back the Second Company Governor’s Foot Guard for an evening of music that honors the men and women who have served, and are currently serving in our nation’s military,” said Michelle Bettigole, Executive Director at The Watermark at East Hill.
