Root Six to perform at Valentine’s Silent Auction and Dance Feb. 8 at the Southbury Firehouse

The local band Root Six will perform an array of rhythm and blues songs at St. Teresa of Avila’s Valentine’s Silent Auction and Dance from 6-11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Southbury Firehouse.

The band is made up of area musicians, Chris Allan of Southbury; Frank Hallenbeck of Woodbury; Mark Pancrazio of Woodbury; Paul Peters of Woodbury; Mike Quicquaro of Watertown; and Tim Roosa of Woodbury.

Tickets, which are $40 each, include a catered dinner and dessert. The event also will feature a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the church’s summer mission experience for youths and young adults who will travel to Kittery, Maine from July 27 to Aug. 2. The young people will help elderly and low-income families who are struggling to keep up with home repairs and painting.
