The East Coast's Premier Charity Motorcycle Ride to benefit Special Olympics – Dream Ride 2013 presented by Bozzuto’s Inc. and Hometown Foundation - is back and better than ever! Dream Ride will be held on Sunday, August 25th at The Farmington Club, located at 162 Town Farm Road in Farmington. This much-anticipated event combines shiny-chrome, delicious food, live entertainment, industry-leading-vendors and – new this year – a Kid’s Fun-Stop Tent. Dream Cruise and Wrangler Rally 2013 – a classic and exotic car cruise to benefit Special Olympics presented by Papa’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram – will also take place on Sunday, August 25th. Papa’s Dodge, located at 585 East Main Street, New Britain, will serve as the local starting point, and drivers will cruise to The Farmington Club, Farmington. Special guests will include Wayne Carini, host of the television program Chasing Classic Cars, who will also serve as one of the judges for the Dream Show. Carini is well-known for his experience and expertise as a master car restorer whose passion for elite and exotic cars has been profiled in the New York Times and numerous automobile magazines. On his show, Carini introduces viewers to vintage and high-end cars that he finds, buys, restores and sells. Chasing Classic Cars airs Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. on the Velocity by Discovery cable and satellite television channel. Dream Ride and Dream Cruise aim to unite thousands of motorcycle and car enthusiasts to enjoy the ride, celebrate the achievements of Special Olympics athletes and join in and support a movement that inspires respect and inclusion for people of all abilities.
