The Friends of the Woodbury Public Library are seeking Woodbury teens in grades six and up to design a new logo for the Friends of the Woodbury Public Library organization.
The winning logo will be imprinted on T-shirts to be sold as a fundraiser for the Friends of the Library.
Entry forms will be available at the Friends of the Library Book Cellar and at the Woodbury Public Library.
The contest will run from April 1 to 30.
No submissions will be accepted after Monday, April 30.
The Friends of the Library Board and the library director will choose the top two entries and those entries will be on display in the library during the month of May.
The winning logo will be voted on by library patrons. The winner will receive a digital camera and a T-shirt with their logo printed on it. The runner-up with receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
The Friends of the Woodbury Public Library supports the Woodbury Public Library in a variety of ways.
In 2011, they supplied summer reading incentives, sponsored library programs, supplied funds for several databases and museum passes, and updated furniture in the teen department of the library.
