On November 15, local Brownie Troop 64008 learned about meal planning and the importance of budgeting and philanthropy while shopping for a Thanksgiving Dinner for a family in need.
The Brownies made a shopping list and were given a budget before storming the aisles at Stop and Shop in Southbury. The meal was donated to Safe Haven in Waterbury and the girls completed steps to earning their Money Management and Philanthropy badges.
