Holiday Toy Drive Going on Now at The Watermark at East Hill

The Watermark at East Hill is currently collecting toys for a holiday toy drive benefiting the Southbury Needy Fund. The drive is open to the public and toys can be dropped off at the retirement community located at 611 East Hill Road in Southbury.

From November 5 through November 26 the community will be collecting new and unwrapped toys for children in Southbury. Tax deductible monetary donations will also be accepted, which will be used to purchase college book store gift certificates to help students defray the cost of text books.

“We are thrilled to have our residents, guests and associates participate in this holiday toy drive,” said Michelle Bettigole, Executive Director of The Watermark at East Hill. “All of us at The Watermark at East Hill would like to extend a big thanks to those who participate in the toy drive, helping to make the holidays special for those in need.”

The Southbury Needy Fund provides year-round support to families in need, with one hundred percent of donations supporting local families.
