We should be using Park and Recreation to generate revenue, not to compensate a political employeeRead Morew ith overly generous comp time. Had Butterly and Overton not dumped 2 professionals in the field, they, along with the other, could be showing the town how to use Park and Rec to generate revenue.

We need responsible levels of staffing and someone who is not going to cave to the unions. We have Read Moreneither. In addition, for a $350,000 home, a 5% overall tax reduction would mean $3,500 in immediate increase in home value. We are overtaxed where we are now and we need to cut.

What is different from this budget from the previous budgets is that the First Selectman and theRead MoreBOF Chair have cleverly removed a major part of the budget. The Capital Projects. Of course the budget spending will be less when you remove a major number in the budget. BUT DON"T BE FOOLED. You will see it again when they put a package together to go out and bond these projects. WHO DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO BE PAYING THAT BILL ? This administration said during the election that they would be preparing the budget differently if elected. Now we all see what the meant by that. They hide the numbers, don't tell the whole story, speak half truths. What happened to the Assistant park and Rec Director? They are not going to talk about that! Yes this budget is different this year, and it has already failed three times. Woodbury voters are not stupid. I urge all voters to vote. VOTE NO. VOTE YES FOR HIGHER TAXES.

each time I pass a church I think "there is another 'Lords Bank" and each time I hear ofRead Morea fundraiser event for a church it reminds me of the government bailing out Wall St.. Odd isn't it?
