Roof Collapses on Residential House in Middlebury
No one was injured in the roof collapse at 140 Woodfield Road.
Middlebury Police and Fire were dispatched to a residential home at 140 Woodfield Road in Middlebury tonight for a roof collapse.
Emergency Personnel responded and found a single story wood ranch style home with a partial collapse with the rest of the house outer walls buckled outward.
According to Lt. Richard A. Wildman the house was unoccupied at the time.
Middlebury Building Officials were en route to survey the damage, however Wildman says an early estimate will probably be a total loss. CL&P is also en route to cut the power and the Fire Department will secure any hazards. There were no injuries and no animals inside.
