A coach bus will leave at 7:30 a.m. for Ski Butternut. An all-you-can-eat kosher barbecue will be available. The estimated time of arrival back to Connecticut is 4 p.m.

Cost to attend is $45 for those ages six and younger, $65 for those ages seven and older and $28 for ski rentals.

Admission includes breakfast, round-trip coach bus transportation, a slope-side all-you-can-eat kosher barbecue lunch, a lift ticket and a beginner lesson for skiers or riders ages eight and older.

Space may be reserved by calling 800-297-6864 or visit the Chabad Lubavitch website.

"We try to come up with creative ways to connect people to their Jewishness, be it on the slopes or the synagogue," said Rabbi Joseph Eisenbach, director of Chabad of Northwest Connecticut.

Eisenbach is an avid skier and past ski instructor in the Austrian Alps.
